1. RESIDENT ENGINEERS (5 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Must possess a university Degree in BSc. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent;
• Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a professional engineer; and
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in water supply/structural infrastructure with expertise in designing and overseeing implementation of dam/sub-surface dams/sand dams/structural engineering projects.

2. ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARDS SPECIALISTS-WATER SUPPLY (5 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Must possess a university Degree in either natural resource sciences/ management / environmental sciences/ climate change;
• Registered as Lead Expert for Environmental Social and Impact Assessment (ESIA) with NEMA and EIK;
• At least 10 years of experience undertaking environmental assessments and implementation support in relevant fields related to water supply projects;
• Experience implementing projects following the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) within the last 5 years.

3. ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARDS SPECIALISTS-ROADS (2 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Must possess a university degree in Environmental Sciences or equivalent and a minimum of eight (8) years post-graduation experience;
• He/she should be registered/accredited by NEMA, and have a working knowledge of the World Bank’s environmental safeguards requirements;
• Have successfully completed five (5) similar assignments in their respective fields each having a work’s value of at least USD 5 million.

4. SOCIAL SAFEGUARDS SPECIALISTS-WATER SUPPLY (5 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Must possess a university degree in social sciences (sociology, community development, anthropology, social work, governance peace and conflict);
• At least 10 years of experience undertaking social safeguard assessment and implementation support in relevant fields related to water supply projects;
• He/she shall have working knowledge of the World Bank’s social safeguards requirements, implementation of resettlement action plans, monitoring of community liaison activities, and communication with local authorities/communities;
• Experience with the implementation of projects following the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) within the last 5 years.

5. SOCIAL SAFEGUARDS SPECIALISTS-ROADS (2 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Must possess a university degree in Social Sciences, development sociology/anthropology or equivalent and a minimum of eight (8) years post-graduation experience;
• He/she shall have a working knowledge of the World Bank’s social safeguards requirements, implementation of resettlement action plans, monitoring of community liaison activities, and communication with local authorities/communities.
• Have successfully completed five (5) similar assignments in their respective fields each having a work’s value of at least USD 5 million.

6. STRUCTURAL/BRIDGE ENGINEER (2 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Must possess a University Degree in BSc (Civil Engineering) or equivalent;
• Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a professional engineer;
• Minimum of nine (9) years post-graduation experience and have served in a similar role on a long-term basis on at least three (3) previous successfully completed road design or road construction supervision assignments where bridge spans of at least 75M were designed and/or built.

7. SOFTWARE USER ADMINISTRATOR – OFFICE 365 (1 NO)

General Professional Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Certificate in use of Office 365;
• At least one (1) year work experience.
